Electrical design engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for preparing initial layouts, performing design

calculations, and developing electrical system designs using CAD software. The role involves

coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting site visits, and ensuring design accuracy

while addressing potential issues and incorporating project requirements. This position requires

strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively to deliver high-

quality design outputs.

• Licensed Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of Electrical Design.
• At least 1-year relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Talent and aptitude to analyze and solve problems independently.
• Good communication skills (both oral and written) and positive thinking.
• Well-organized and good team player.

• Prepare the initial layout, conduct calculations, and determine sizing.
• Utilize CAD software to incorporate markups provided by the immediate superior, offering solutions for potential design issues.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and relevant references applicable to the project.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance the overall design output.
• Perform site visits to validate and coordinate with Clients, Subcontractors, and Field Engineers regarding project-related matters.
• Fulfill any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management, not limited to those mentioned above.
