Insurance Product Manager - UFSI

Office Location: UB Square - Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Job Summary: The Insurance Product Manager handles the end-to-end product life cycle for insurance products within the brokerage. The product manager together with the sales teams is also responsible for the attainment of insurance revenue goals from both new accounts and renewals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare documentation together with providers for onboarding new products in UFSI.
• Submit documentation to relevant approving bodies within UB Wealth/UFSI or regulatory agencies, as applicable.
• Present and articulate the business opportunity of new products to these approving bodies.
• Identify and manage the product roadmap, including timelines for enhancements or retirement.
• Determine distribution strategies to reach new and existing customers.
• Develop marketing materials in collaboration with product providers and internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Legal, and Compliance.
• Develop campaigns to establish a customer pipeline prior to the launch of a new product.
• Generate new business opportunities and propositions for existing products.
• Pursue opportunities for cross-selling general insurance products within the UnionBank group ecosystem, including Wealth client base, credit cards, and other potential segments.
• Conduct regular cadence meetings with product providers to align on new products, initiatives, and strategies to grow the insurance business.
• Keep abreast of developments in the insurance industry and changes in the regulatory landscape.
• Partner with product providers to conduct regular trainings, roadshows, and other activities to drive seller engagement for general insurance products.
• Work with the Insurance Product Head to identify and onboard potential new insurance product providers.
