Quickli Calculator Developer (Software Engineer)
Quickli is a rapidly growing tech company serving mortgage brokers in Australia, and we are seeking a highly motivated mid-level Software Engineer (Developer) to join our team of talented developers.
We are looking for someone passionate about solving challenging maths problems, who has experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, and is excited about contributing to a product that solves a major pain point in the mortgage broking industry (you don’t need to have experience with mortgage broking).
You will be joining a team of 10 Philippines-based engineers and working alongside a team of Philippines-based quality assurance, to keep Quickli up and running and to the high standards our customers expect.
Responsibilities:
- Adding new lenders to our platform
- Updating our lender calculators whenever new calculator versions are released
- Extending our system to handle more sophisticated business logic
- Reactively resolving bugs raised by customers
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- We are not seeking engineering managers for this position
- This role is strictly for hands-on coding. We need someone who is actively involved in coding
Desired Skills/Attitude:
- Strong maths aptitude and keen to take on a challenge
- Experience writing tests (jest/mocha/vitest)
- Ability to express complex ideas clearly
- Eagerness to learn about the business domain we operate within (i.e., mortgage broking)
- Good at asking questions and taking initiative to solve problems
- In case of moving to the product team, our stack includes:

- next.js/react
- Vercel
- MongoDB
