Priority Tasks

Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and offshore vendors, ensuring open communication, timely deliveries, and effective issue resolution.
• Check and monitor supplier and vendor payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed-upon terms.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to maximize profitability and maintain healthy relationships.
• Review purchase orders, cutting reports, fabric purchase orders, and procurement activities for accuracy and compliance prior to approval submission.
• Actively engaging in the identification and assessment of potential new suppliers to expand our vendor network and enhance procurement capabilities.

Monitoring and Planning:

• Monitor product development progress, ensuring alignment with future budget considerations.
• Coordinate the processing and tracking of shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Stay updated on delivery statuses and communicate with relevant teams to address any potential delays or issues.
• Monitor capacity planning summaries to ensure optimized production and timely deliveries based on demand forecasts.
• Monitor vendor performances to be able to consider in planning and anticipate potential risks for immediate actions as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with relevant teams to align with budget plans based on the progress of development status.
• Collaborate with Sales Coordinators to review merchandise performance, discuss customer feedback, and identify areas for improvement to take into consideration in production capacity planning and delivery.
• Prepare and coordinate samples for malls, ensuring timely availability for presentations and sales efforts.
• Collaborate with potential suppliers to source and select products that align with market trends, customer preferences, and the company's brand image for possible suggestions to designers for development.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Submit reports on the progress of monthly delivery schedule.
• Prepare and organize lineups for monthly merchandise deliveries, ensuring alignment with sales targets and inventory requirements.
• Forecast Payments based on offshore procurement to help management monitor monthly payables.
• Analyze production and sales data to identify trends, operational inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and increase productivity across all functions.
• Make data-driven recommendations to optimize processes and enhance overall performance.

Team Supervision:

• Supervise and guide the team's daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines.
• Providing performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to the team.

Ad Hoc:

• Embrace additional tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned to help merchandising capacity to support the timeliness of products to stores.

• Graduate of Marketing, Management or Communications or its equivalent
• Must have at least 2 years' experience in Merchandise Planning and Stock and Sales Analysis
• Experience in Order Planning is a plus
• Experience in NAV is a plus
• Must be articulate, can communicate well with people from different levels, with good analytical thinking skills, good understanding of the total business and can make sound business decisions when necessary.
• With Experience in the Fashion/ Apparel industry
