College Dean for CS/IT - AMACC Dumaguete

About the Role

The Dean will provide strategic direction, supervise faculty and staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen program performance and student outcomes.

• Oversee the overall academic and administrative operations of the CS/IT department.
• Provide strategic leadership in curriculum development, program enhancement, and accreditation compliance.
• Supervise and evaluate faculty and academic staff performance.
• Manage day-to-day academic concerns and departmental operations.
• Respond to and resolve concerns raised by students and faculty members in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and recommend policies, improvements, and strategic initiatives for the betterment of the department.
• Ensure programs remain aligned with current industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards.
• Support research, innovation, and professional development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Educational Attainment:

• Master in Information Technology (MIT) or Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) graduate.
• At least five (5) years of managerial or supervisory experience in the academic industry.

Certifications (Required):

• Relevant IT certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, Cybersecurity, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials.
