JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivables is responsible for managing and monitoring receivables across multiple companies under the Owner, including Wholesale Trading and Lending Services. The role ensures timely collections, accurate posting, proper documentation, and effective coordination for post-dated checks (PDCs), past-due accounts, and bounced checks.
This position may also handle AR tasks for other companies under the same Owner and assist in related finance and accounting duties as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Accounts Receivable – Wholesale Trading- Prepare and issue sales invoices, statements of account (SOA), and billing schedules
- Monitor customer receivables and aging reports
- Follow up on outstanding balances and coordinate payment schedules
- Record collections (cash, checks, bank transfers) accurately and timely
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports
- Coordinate loan collections including post-dated checks (PDCs), amortization schedules, and due dates
- Monitor past-due accounts, overdue balances, and delinquencies
- Track and report bounced or returned checks and coordinate corrective actions
- Prepare collection status reports for management
- Coordinate with Operations, Loan Processing, and Collection teams regarding borrower accounts
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of loan-related receivables
- Handle AR tasks for other companies under the same Owner
- Maintain separate and accurate records per company
- Coordinate intercompany receivables when applicable
- Support ad hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as required
- Ensure all receivable transactions are properly documented and compliant with company policies
- Maintain organized digital and physical AR records
- Assist during audits and management reviews
- Collection Efficiency: 95%–98% of total receivables collected on time
- Past-Due Accounts: ≤5% of total AR; critical overdue accounts (60+ days) ≤2%
- Bounced / Returned Checks: ≤3% of total checks; resolved within 7–14 days
- AR Posting Accuracy & Reporting: 99% accuracy and 100% timely report submission
- Follow-Up Compliance: 100% documented follow-ups for past-due accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years experience in Accounts Receivable or Collection
- Experience in lending or loan collections is an advantage
- Knowledge of PDC handling, aging analysis, and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple companies and accounts
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
