- Prepare and maintain Importation Request Tabulation in Excel.
- Forward TELEX copies to suppliers via email to notify them of payment transactions.
- Conduct daily follow-ups with suppliers regarding shipment and order status.
- Review draft shipping documents (Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Airway Bill, and Bill of Lading) to ensure accuracy of details.
- Apply for CFCR permits for imported imaging equipment such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, and MRI units.
- Provide brokers with required documents and certifications, including revised shipping documents, explanation letters, and other customs-related requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of duties and taxes computations prepared by brokers.
- Check and validate HS Codes using the Tariff Book to ensure proper classification of imported goods.
- Coordinate with banks regarding the final assessment and payment of duties and taxes.
- Provide Packing Lists received from suppliers to the Property Department.
- Monitor shipment deliveries and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Prepare and update Importation Tabulation Reports.
- File and maintain all shipping and customs clearance documents.
- Source and compare rates from domestic shipping providers.
- Arrange and coordinate domestic shipments and deliveries as required. 16. Process and monitor FDA registrations, licenses, permits, and product-related requirements. 17. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
