Sr. Continuous Improvement Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- To support and facilitate the global and area level projects in One Team Customer Experience (OTCX) and Managed by Maersk (MbM) Team.
- To support Site Lead and Process Head on automation initiatives.
- To overall manage OTCX and MbM productivity related tasks and ensure working efficiency is well maintained.
- Collaborating with business teams, subject matter experts to ascertain ‘Citizen led’ opportunities, identify end-user requirements and specifications; define automation solutions along stakeholders.
- Maintain and develop automation tools and scripts, including company business systems, automation tools, database, applications, etc.
- Work heavily with MS Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
- Handle business-critical automation tasks and its improvements.
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
- Create technical documentation for reference and governance.
- Establishes and revises database by conferring with analysts and programmers to code and retrieve data.
- Train employees in using automation tools and provide technical support when needed.
Skills and Competencies:
- With heavy experience in one of developing language like but not limited to: MS Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), .NET and Power Automate.
- Able to read codes in VBA and replication of automation.
- Experience in Python, Power BI, JavaScript, C language is a nice to have.
- Strong analyzation, reasoning and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrates strong communication capabilities in an international environment.
- Equip with positive and constructive attitude with creative thinking for team improvement and business driving.
- Familiarity with Agile development technologies.
- Work independently/excellent time management skill and multiple tasks handling ability.
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually on a project; excellent time management skill and multiple tasks handling ability.
- A proactive attitude to foresee irregularities and propose alternative solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any course.
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in technology position and service industry.
- Preferably with work experience in Logistics and shipping industry.
- Excellent in English (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel – advanced skills.
- Willing to work in morning to mid shift; but also, open and flexible in case there will be change in schedule due to business needs.
