Logistics Manager
We are looking for a Logistics Manager to serve as a supervisory resource supporting logistics operations and BluVoyix platform validation. This individual will act as a key operational and functional lead, combining strong logistics domain expertise with hands-on testing and system validation experience.
The Logistics Manager will work directly from the office and serve as a central point of coordination between operations, technology, and external logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise logistics operations and oversee daily workflow, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as a functional lead and direct resource supporting BluVoyix platform operations and testing activities.
- Perform functional testing of logistics workflows, including shipment tracking, milestone updates, freight bookings, and rate management scenarios.
- Monitor and validate shipment milestones across ocean, trucking, and intermodal movements.
- Coordinate with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, drayage providers, and logistics partners to resolve operational and data discrepancies.
- Verify freight rates, carrier performance, and shipment movement accuracy across systems.
- Maintain logistics data integrity and support operational reporting and exception management.
- Provide functional feedback to engineering teams to improve platform performance and usability.
Required Functional Expertise
The candidate must have extensive functional knowledge in logistics, including:
- Ocean freight management
- Freight rate management and contract structures
- Container tracking and milestone management
- Trucking and drayage operations
- Freight forwarding and carrier coordination
- Shipment lifecycle from origin to delivery
- Prior experience in logistics operations, freight management, or supply chain supervision
- Experience with logistics systems testing, UAT, or platform validation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work from the office and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and coordination skills

This role will ensure operational excellence while acting as a critical bridge between logistics operations and the BluVoyix technology platform, supporting both logistics execution and system quality assurance.
