The Qualifications We Seek
Required Qualifications- 3-5 years of experience in CAD drafting, design engineering, or technical documentation
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 3D
- Industry experience in structural steel, fabrication, design engineering, sheet metal, or aluminium extrusion
- Experience with PVcase
- Solar industry experience, including exposure to racking systems or mounting structures
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently
- Responsive, dependable, flexible, and collaborative in a fast-paced team environment
Your Daily Tasks
Design & Drafting:
- Prepare detailed drawings of S-Rack systems using CAD software
- Create production-ready drawings and technical documentation
- Modify drawings to meet project-specific tender requirements
- Support R&D through concept and prototype drawings
Documentation & Bill of Materials:
- Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) based on engineering drawings
- Maintain document registers and revision control
- Ensure latest drawing versions are issued and archived properly
Quality Assurance / Quality Control:
- Conduct QA reviews of engineering drawings and documentation
- Identify discrepancies, missing details, or drafting errors
- Provide ad hoc QA/QC support across projects
Project Coordination:
- Manage multiple projects with varying deliverables
- Communicate timelines and updates with stakeholders
- Work autonomously while maintaining responsiveness
