Posted on 7 May 2026MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs physical, chemical, biological, microbiological, and special analysis in all samples collected from the area of assignment and other applicable points within Maynilad influence.Interpret and relay results to ensure that the control parameters are met in producing finished water quality in accordance with or better than the Philippine National Standards of Drinking Water set values.
Prepares, standardizes, and ensures the accuracy of reagent chemicals required for analysis to ensure that Process Control operation complies with the requirements of the IMS.
Analyzes treatment chemicals submitted for bidding and those delivered before acceptance.
Monitors, accepts, and records Process Control chemical reagents and supplies and updates inventory after withdrawal and consumption.
Monitors, verifies, and calibrates equipment used in the process control analysis.
Assists WSO Officer, Process Engineering and other internal customers in conducting research and development studies related to treatment plant processes.
Provides related support to Department’s CAPEX projects.
Implements Integrated Management System’s programs, activities, procedures, and policies.
Does other related tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Graduate of Chemistry
Must be a Licensed Chemist
Preferably with one to three years of related work experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
Computer skills (MS Office)
Written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Analytical thinking skills
Preferably with basic technical skills on trouble shooting of basic laboratory instrument
Driving skills
