MAINTENANCE UTILITY

Position Summary

The Maintenance Utility will assist in performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including air-conditioning system servicing, electrical repairs, plumbing, and general facility upkeep. This role requires an individual with average technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Air-Conditioning Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Electrical Maintenance: Assist in Troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures.
• Plumbing: Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and installation of pipes, valves, and fixtures.
• General Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs, painting, carpentry, and other tasks to maintain the facility in good condition.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure safety standards are met.
• Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruptions.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of tools, supplies, and materials required for maintenance tasks and report replenishment needs.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in relevant fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is an advantage.
• Experience:
• Hands-on experience with air-conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems from OJT or Apprenticeship an advantage
• Skills:
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights).
• Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures.
