Job Summary
The Medical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s medical products, diagnostic solutions, laboratory-related offerings, and healthcare products within the assigned territory.
The role involves sales generation, account development, customer relationship management, market expansion, and territory growth while ensuring alignment with company standards, ethical practices, and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and sell medical products, diagnostic solutions, laboratory-related products, and healthcare offerings within the assigned area
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Develop new business opportunities in hospitals, laboratories, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare institutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, laboratory heads, hospital administrators, purchasing officers, and other key decision-makers
- Conduct regular field visits to existing and prospective clients
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and customer-focused solutions
- Monitor customer needs, account movement, competitor activities, and market opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Technical Service, Product/Application, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Support to address client concerns
- Submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory development reports
- Maintain updated customer database, route plans, call plans, and account records
- Graduate of Business Administration, Marketing, Medical Technology, Biology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or any related course
- With at least 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in any of the following:
- Medical devices
- Diagnostics / IVD
- Clinical chemistry
- Laboratory products
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare-related sales
- Experience handling hospital, laboratory, diagnostic, or healthcare accounts is highly preferred
- Strong skills in account management, field sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship building
- Results-driven, customer-oriented, and able to work independently
- Willing to do extensive fieldwork and travel within Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and Abra
- Familiarity with the local healthcare market, hospitals, laboratories, and customer landscape in the area is an advantage
- Must have a valid driver’s license; ability to drive a motorcycle or car is preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are especially interested in candidates who have:
- Experience selling clinical chemistry, diagnostic, or laboratory-related products
- Existing exposure to hospital laboratories, diagnostic centers, pathology labs, or healthcare institutions
- Strong ability to build trust and credibility with healthcare professionals and institutional buyers
- Good business sense, urgency, ownership, and follow-through in managing accounts
- Ability to grow territories, open new accounts, and maintain long-term partnerships
