Project Execution Specialist (Electrical)

Job Summary

The Project Execution Specialist supports the Project Execution Manager in delivering energy projects from construction through turnover to plant operations. The role ensures operational requirements, timelines, and quality standards are monitored and maintained, while assisting in coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and supporting risk and contract management activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Business Development and Project Execution Manager in capturing operational requirements, constructability considerations, and “must-haves” during project origination
• Help review and draft project plans, preliminary designs, and project assumptions
• Document operational and execution considerations for handover to engineering and construction teams

• Track construction progress against approved schedules and detailed timelines
• Monitor supplier and contractor performance, including contract compliance, and escalate issues as needed
• Support risk identification and mitigation for construction and execution activities
• Assist in resolving cross-functional discrepancies between relevant teams

• Facilitate information flow and coordination between cross-functional teams
• Maintain project logs, action items, risk registers, and progress updates
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and lessons-learned documentation for leadership and Project Execution Manager

Job Specifications

• Licensed Engineer (Electrical or related courses) or equivalent
• Minimum 2-4 years in energy project execution, construction management, or infrastructure delivery
• Familiarity with project schedules, reporting, and construction monitoring
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and reporting systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Basic understanding of construction risk and contract monitoring
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to escalate issues appropriately
