  • A 1 to 2-week Paid Test Period will be provided. During this time, the candidate will be given a test that can be completed within 1 to 2 weeks. This will allow us to further determine if the candidate is the right fit for us. After the candidate passes this round, he/she will then be onboarded officially.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst or Mathematician with a strong passion for applying advanced numerical and analytical techniques to real estate investments. This functional role within a real estate/ development investment firm offers hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle—from data-driven market research and financial modeling to deal execution and portfolio optimization.

The ideal candidate combines superior quantitative skills with outstanding communication abilities, a collaborative mindset, and the poise to coordinate effectively with executive-level stakeholders.

This position serves as a launchpad for growth into senior quantitative roles or portfolio management, making it ideal for ambitious, detail-oriented individuals eager to drive success in Australia’s competitive property market through rigorous mathematical analysis.

Qualifications

Educational Background
  • Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized Philippine or international university (e.g., UP, Ateneo, DLSU, UST, or equivalent).
  • Need to have a strong educational foundation in Finance/ Accounting.

Highly Desirable:

  • Postgraduate studies (e.g., Master’s or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, or Operations Research) or progress toward advanced certifications like CFA Level 1, FRM, or equivalent (e.g., Certified Public Accountant – CPA Philippines).
  • Specialized coursework in quantitative methods, stochastic modeling, optimization, or real estate valuation techniques (e.g., via online platforms like Coursera, edX, or local institutions like AIM).
Work Experience
  • Baseline:
  • 4–5 years of solid experience in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, data science, or a related field, reflecting the Philippine job market’s expectations for mid-level professionals.
  • Need to be able to conduct/ create Financial Modeling

Preferred:

  • At least 3 years of dedicated professional experience in statistics, actuarial science, or land valuation, with a focus on applying quantitative methods to real-world problems.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in quantitative roles within a real estate firm, financial institution, hedge fund, or consultancy (e.g., Ayala Land, Colliers Philippines, or global firms like CBRE).
  • Direct exposure to quantitative aspects of real estate, such as financial modeling, risk assessment, or market forecasting through prior professional work, academic research, or capstone projects.
  • Prior experience applying quantitative methods to US and Australian real estate markets, including statistical analysis of transactions, valuations, or market trends, is highly desirable.

As an Investment Analyst, you will support the investment team in identifying, evaluating, and managing real estate opportunities in Australia, with responsibilities adapted to the Philippine work context:

  1. Market and Economic Research
  • Apply statistical and econometric models to analyze Australian real estate trends in key regions (e.g., Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane) and sectors (e.g., residential, commercial).
  • Monitor and forecast macroeconomic indicators (e.g., interest rates, inflation, BSP policies) using quantitative methods to assess impacts on property markets.
  • Source and process data from credible platforms like the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), CoreLogic, or international reports, employing advanced analytics for insights
  1. Financial Analysis and Modeling
  • Build and refine advanced quantitative models to evaluate investment viability, incorporating probabilistic forecasts, IRR, NPV, yield calculations, and optimization techniques.
