Technical Sales Engineer - Manila

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in flooring systems (e.g., epoxy, vinyl, wood, concrete, or industrial flooring) to join our team. This role bridges technical expertise and client relations, focusing on generating sales, managing customer accounts, and overseeing flooring project execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in commercial, industrial, or residential flooring markets.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide customized flooring solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective clients.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to specify appropriate flooring systems.
• Prepare project proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Oversee the execution of flooring installations to ensure adherence to technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and after-sales service to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, design, procurement, installation) to ensure project delivery excellence.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and competitive products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field. (Civil preferred.)
• 2+ years of experience in technical sales or project management within the construction or flooring industry.
• Strong understanding of flooring materials and installation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly.
• Proven sales track record and client relationship management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as needed.
