Assist in complex electrical, mechanical design, environmental and lay-out development work in connection with equipment or rearrangements in ptant facilities. Work involves the handling of technical duties where decisions are made within the limits of general practices and standards and where supervision is available to handle unusual situations.Work also involves occasional instructions and training of a small group of employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management- 1. Represent the Cold Storage in a positive and professional manner. r Work with all personnel and outside contracts to satisfy clients and achievcompany goals.
- ldentify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Submit not less than one operational improvement issue per month to the management.
- Arrive to work and meeting on time and prepared.
- Maintain work areas in safe and a clean and organized manner.
- Develop plans to reduce rework with the aim of eliminating it. r Ensure that workers are following all safety guidelines.
- Actively identifies new areas for learning and takes advantage of learning opportunities.
- Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
- All of the duties are completed within the day tasked; o Service reports and other documentations of internal process are completed
- accurately and timely. r lnitiate energy and warehousing projects/tactics/techniques that will differentiate the cold storage.
- Forecasts the ordering of parts needed for the regular maintenance to sustain the operational required to meet plant's target generation.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Initiate activities that will enhance harmonious productive working relationship with their departments within the organization. (ex: Health, Safety & Environment with the HSE Officer.
- Ascertain 0 hours downtime and 0 cases in health, safety and hazardous environment.
- Perform other related work or job assignments as required
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effective with others,
- Skill in both verbal and written communication.
- High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
- Demonstrated technical and professional skllls in job-related area required.
- Knowledge of building codes and construction techniques
- Must be a licensed Engineer. ( Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
- At least 4 year (s) of working experience as SITE Project Engineer.
- Knows how to read and analyze conceptual design and Schematic diagram
- With experience in cold storage operations.
