Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Specialist (Bookkeeping) will take responsibility in assuring that the financial statements are prepared accurately and timely in accordance with PFRS/IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain updated subsidiary ledgers and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with BIR i.e. timely and accurate filing of VAT, expanded withholding taxes, compensation withholding taxes, creditable withholding taxes, and Form1702 and registration of books with ORUS.
• Analyze variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Present financial performance insights to the client
• Assist in bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, files, and supporting documents.
• Prepare financial and accounting reports as required by the client.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Support other accounting and finance-related tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, statutory reporting, tax compliance, external audit, or finance operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Philippine statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements, including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other local reporting obligations.
• Experience with account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, audit support, and accounting controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
