 Process and evaluate Material Request Forms (MRFs) from project sites and various departments.  Conduct supplier sourcing, canvassing, and price comparisons to secure competitive quotations.  Perform negotiations with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

 Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requests.  Coordinate with Site Engineers to validate specifications, urgency, and project requirements.  Liaise with Central Warehouseman and Site Warehouseman for delivery scheduling and receipt

of materials.  Ensure all delivered items are accurate in quantity and specification as indicated in the approved

PO.  Conduct field canvassing when necessary to verify supplier credibility and material availability.

Qualifications/Requirements

2 year course/associate college level/College Graduate

Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.

Prior experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management is often preferred. At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the construction

industry

Attention to Detail, Financial Analysis, Problem Solving Skills. High level of integrity and

accountability, especially in audit-related tasks
