Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Officer ensures that all company operations, processes, and services comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best industry practices. This role is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of products and services across branches, documenting findings, and recommending actionable improvements to maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct regular audits and inspections of branch operations to ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the quality of products and services, including jewelry, gadgets, forex, and other offerings, to ensure adherence to established appraisal and service standards.
- Review and evaluate branch workflows, operational processes, and record-keeping practices for accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.
- Ensure that prescribed policies, operational guidelines, and security standards are properly interpreted and consistently applied in all branches.
- Document findings from audits and inspections, prepare comprehensive reports, and present recommendations for improvement to management.
- Handle special quality assurance assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor, including monitoring stock integrity, verifying accountabilities, and supporting operational compliance.
- Ensure that official records, logs, and reports are consistently maintained and updated.
- Promote integrity and honesty in all branch operations, ensuring that all transactions and records are accurate, complete, and verifiable.
- Participate in continuous learning and training programs to enhance technical skills in product appraisal, SOPs, quality assurance tools, and relevant software systems.
- Maintain all QA tools and equipment provided by the company in proper working condition.
- Prepare weekly work plans and audit schedules for assigned branches, aligned with quality assurance objectives.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior to support quality management and operational excellence.
A. Education
College degree in any relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Quality Management, or a related discipline).B. Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance, operations auditing, or branch operations supervision.C. Skills Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledgeable in product appraisal (jewelry, gadgets, forex)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to identify process gaps and recommend actionable solutions
- Team player with an objective and ethical mindset
- Willing to perform fieldwork and branch visits
- Able to deliver results under pressure
