Position Overview:
As a Data QA Lead, you will be a cornerstone of the Sales Analytics Team. You will take ownership of data ingestion, validation, and the long-term maintenance of data integrity, with a specific focus on customer data. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring the accuracy of data models deployed to internal operations teams.Reporting directly to the Head of Sales Analytics, you will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to build and secure robust customer data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Processing
- Collaborate with business owners to define precise data requirements.
- Extract, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure maximum reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated processes for seamless data collection and integration.
- Quality Assurance & Governance
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on customer data to ensure absolute consistency.
- Partner with Sales and CRM teams to identify, address, and resolve data-related issues.
- Work closely with the Data Governance team to monitor and proactively improve data quality standards.
- Data Infrastructure
- Assist in the design, maintenance, and optimization of data warehouse architecture to ensure customer data is scalable, secure, and performant.
- Oversee data ingestion and transformation, ensuring information from multiple source systems is accurately integrated and standardized.
- Data Leadership
- Lead and mentor other data analysts, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans for the team.
- Own and evolve the overall data strategy and vision, driving a culture of data excellence across the organization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience (5-10 years) as a Data QA Lead, ideally within a revenue-focused or B2B SaaS environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar programming languages).
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data warehouse tools.
- Strong background in Database Management and transforming unstructured data into high-integrity datasets.
- Competencies:
- Strong operational experience with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on data accuracy and quality.
