Data Scientist (Python, Power BI & Tableau) - Onsite - Makati

Job Summary

You will run exploratory and quantitative analysis, sharpen how our existing systems clean, adjust, and classify data, and produce the recurring and ad hoc deliverables that inform both internal teams and client strategy at the highest levels.

You must be rigorous about the correctness of what you ship. You take ownership of gaps, close them on your own, and document your methodology so the work stays transparent and reproducible across the team.

This role reports to the Director of Market Intelligence. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, data-intensive environment and wants to help sharpen how we deliver market intelligence through applied analytics, tools, and research.

• Operate, maintain, and improve the team's existing data workflows, models, and dashboards as part of a shared, collective effort.
• Run exploratory, descriptive, and quantitative analysis across large, multi-source datasets to surface insight and answer open questions.
• Produce the team's recurring and ad hoc deliverables, including the market and intelligence reporting that informs internal stakeholders and clients.
• Strengthen how existing models and classification logic clean, adjust, and categorize data, improving accuracy and reliability over time.
• Spot structural problems in datasets and workflows, then drive the fix in coordination with the team.
• Use AI tools heavily across analysis and delivery, applying judgment about where they help and where they fall short while remaining accountable for the correctness of the output.
• Document methodology, assumptions, and process so analyses stay transparent and reproducible for the rest of the team.

• Strong working knowledge of core data tools, including SQL, Python, and advanced spreadsheet modeling, using them to operate as well as to optimize existing data workflows.
• Strong instincts for data structure, with the ability to recognize structural problems within a dataset.
• Strong attention to detail, to be able to isolate and fix incongruous outputs.
• Fluency with AI tools, the adaptability to evolve with them, and clear ownership of the final output. Strong judgment and verification methods.
• Self-directed and persistent, comfortable taking an ambiguous, messy problem and driving it to a finished result with minimal direction.

• Experience in gaming, regulatory, compliance, or fraud and abuse monitoring.
• Experience with dashboarding and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Experience in a role where you were personally accountable for the accuracy of key metrics or data.
