Marketing Officer - Bank Products

Sun Savings Bank is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a crucial role focused on driving the bank's growth by aggressively generating core deposits (liabilities) and strategically marketing our full suite of banking products to high-value clients.

If you are an experienced financial sales professional with a proven track record in both client acquisition and deposit generation, you are the partner we are looking for.

Your primary mission will be to expand the bank's deposit base while maximizing client value through effective cross-selling. You will be responsible for creating, nurturing, and maintaining profitable long-term relationships for Sun Savings Bank.

 I.  Core Deposit Generation & Client Acquisition
  • Proactively develop and execute strategies to generate new deposit accounts (Savings, Time Deposits) from individuals and businesses to consistently achieve aggressive monthly and quarterly liability targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and successfully onboard high-net-worth individuals and businesses, expanding the bank's client portfolio.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a dedicated client portfolio, providing exceptional service to ensure client retention and increase the share of wallet.
II. Product Marketing & Cross-Selling
  • Market and effectively present the bank's full range of financial solutions, including loan products, digital banking services, and other asset products, tailored to each client's specific financial needs.
  • Conduct thorough financial needs assessments for clients to identify cross-selling opportunities and match them with appropriate bank services.
  • Take complete ownership of the sales process, from lead generation and prospect management to ensuring a seamless final execution and funding of accounts.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Sales experience must be specifically within the financial services sector.
  • Banking experience preferred for this position but not necessary
  • Proven experience meeting client acquisition targets is essential.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience is required.
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and consistently driven by targets, with a resilient attitude towards achieving ambitious sales objectives.
  • Willingness to be assigned to our branches in Danao, Moalboal or based on business needs and opportunities.
  • Experience with any financial products is required or an added advantage.
  • Specific experience with deposits and savings products is required.
